A new department at H2O GmbH: Application Engineering

A new expert department was created at H2O GmbH: Our application technology. It provides advice to sales, engineering, service and development when it comes to finding the optimum wastewater treatment solution for our customers. In order to be able to optimally manage the tasks, personnel was increased in the past months: In addition to the three experienced laboratory assistants, two specially trained application technicians now enrich the department.

Uwe Hanschke, who had previously spent 4 years as Managing Director of H2O China and built up the Chinese market, will take over the management. "It is good to be back in Germany and I am looking forward to the challenges here in Steinen," Hanschke says happily. In China, he closely supervised the application technology department, so that he can benefit not only from his chemical training as a graduate chemist, but also from many years of VACUDEST experience.

"The goal of the new department is to be able to optimally analyze the increasingly complex application areas of the customers and thus offer them the best solution. In addition, the new department should serve as an interface to the other departments of H2O GmbH and thus contribute to innovation management and the technological lead of H2O. "It is a matter of identifying and solving risks in advance, both for existing wastewater treatment plants and for newly planned technologies, so that the customer then has a reliable wastewater technology that provides long and faithful service".
