The most honest winter and Christmas wishes in the world - From the mouths of the H2O children

The Advent season - it includes the smell of biscuits, the glow of lights, the winter air - and the frantic search for presents for all your loved ones. Do you remember how much you longed for the festive season (and presents!) as a child with shining eyes and trembling with heartfelt anticipation? Not a trace of the organizational obligations around the big family celebration or the fearsome events unfolding in the world last year or the corona, climate energy crisis. Just simply enjoying the many beautiful things of this magical time.

Today, let us take you back to childhood magic and happiness.

We asked our children: What are your wishes? For the winter time, for Christmas or just anything that comes to mind?

"Chocolate! And that we build such a great snow toboggan run in the garden again!" (6 years)

"A concrete mixer!" (3 years)

"A squishy (cute animal anti-stress ball) and yellow slime!" (10 years)

"That I marry a rich man who has a mansion with a pool and a dog" (13 years)

"A robot dog!" (6 years)

"A pair of new slippers." (5 years)

"That I pass my A-levels with a very good grade and then get my dream job at the BKA (Federal Criminal Police Office of Germany)!" (17 years)

"That everyone takes a small step for the environment so that the air is not so polluted. That everyone is healthy, allowed to go to school and be who they want to be. That there is no bullying. P.S. And because not all people have the luck and luxury of our lives, we are supporting two charity organisations this year. Our Christmas donation goes to the Tafel Dreiländereck, which is based in our neighbourhood and works against food waste as well as providing fellow human beings and refugees in need with a warm meal. The second one is the internationally active charity organisation SOS-Kinderdorf.  They take care of disadvantaged children in Africa, America, Asia and Europe and ensure with their important work that even sad children's eyes can shine again.
